Installation and Access
SunSolve Yield does not require anything to be installed on a local computer. It is accessed entirely online.
To use SunSolve Yield, you first need to create an account with PV Lighthouse.
- Go to www.pvlighthouse.com.au.
- Click Log In → Create Account (see example below).
- Complete the registration form using your official company or institutional email address. Personal or free email accounts (for example, qq.com or gmail.com) are not accepted.

Once your account is created, it must be activated for solver access. This can be done as part of a free trial (contact PV Lighthouse to request access) or through your organisation’s paid subscription if your institution already holds a SunSolve Yield licence.
SunSolve Yield can be accessed in two ways:
- Web interface: via www.pvlighthouse.com.au/sunsolve-yield. The interface runs entirely in the browser and connects automatically to the latest released version of the solver.
- API access: for automated or programmatic workflows. The API provides the same solver capabilities for integration with external tools and research pipelines.
All simulations are executed on distributed cloud computing resources hosted by AWS and managed by PV Lighthouse. This allows fast and scalable performance without requiring any local installation.
If you experience access issues or need additional configuration, contact PV Lighthouse support for assistance.
